Sorry to bug you guys
But I have just a quick question.
Can anyone tell me either how to measure or what the measurements would be for my shifter size, thread, and pitch?
I drive an 85 CRX si. I did a search for similar topics, and noticed that the most common answer was M 10x1.5. While I don't really know what that means (I am having someone else make me a custom ****), I saw that some people also said 8mm, so I'm a little confused. I apologize if I'm wasting your time, but I've searched everywhere I can think of and have come up with nothing. Whether that is because the information isn't there or that I know nothing about cars is up in the air.
I appreciate any help you can give me. I may not know much about cars, but I do love my little honda, and it's quite reliable (coming up on 250,000 miles!). Thanks again!

Ok, to determine thread size and pitch, you need a couple of tools that you probably don't have.
Would you have any nuts and bolts lying around? If so, you can try to match one up?
