Default USDM vs JDM swaps & differences

One thing I've confirmed is that JDM starter is different. I assume I can swap this out for use with my flywheel that's made for the USDM.

Anything else different besides compression and some sensors that the USDM uses?

Axles? distributor? etc...

jdm has more hp, check motor sites ull see for example jdm b18c1 is 180hp and usdm is 170hp. also itr's r 200hp in japland and usdm packs 195hp.

Sorry, I should clarify, I meant physical differences... I may be picking up just the long block, I want to make sure all the USDM stuff on my current integra will be compatible... and since I already have a USDM flywheel, I know it won't work with the JDM starter...

So far it looks as though axles are interchangeable. i'm assume the starters are interchangeable.

Anything else that differs physically, or interchangeably (is that a word?)?

appearance wise you'll notice by looking at JDM engines is that the VTEC sign is bigger then the DOHC sign and US engines have the DOHC sign bigger then the VTEC sign.

check it out.

the only really difference iv noticed between them is the jdm's have a slightly higher compression not much but very little difference. also its made in "Japan" and since its made in "Japan" everyone just has to ahve one
