Actually this is one of those that are kinda ok by the rules. They will only fit ITRs without some work. Not OEM ITR but still specific to the DC2R.

I'm most likely going to go the GC+Koni route.
Those LD's still look nice, though.

Archives have a pretty good collection and comments on the LD's
I really liked them hardly any body roll ran 5's all around at the track
slalom transitions felt faster and more crisp, you'll never wish something else.

i consider this ITR specific because they were produced for the ITR's rear control arms. Even if someone wanted these in a civic or teg thats not the ITR...they still need those lower control arms off the ITR.
this thread is fine

if you track your car, go w/ GCs + yellow w/ custom rates.
Lowdowns = nicey nice for daily driving w/ "casual" autoX & HPDEs.

I cant even tell how they do link into the LCAs. My N1s had the standard bushing like the fronts (unless i am having a brain fart right now and forget). Someone please enlighten me.

ITR rear LCAs is different design than Civic LCAs. A LOT of civic people use ITR rear LCAs to use ITR suspension parts. So, that's what Lip meant.
I guess things are different in UK. Probably not many Civics doing ITR suspension swap.

Weren't the Lowdowns a bit bouncy, with a sort of sudden bottoming out effect?
Maybe that's just mine (or my perception after having some Buddy Clubs with stiffer rates on the other car).

Nah, never had that problem iirc. It was butter smooth on the freeway, but it almost was a bit bouncy at autoX... but, that could've been the setting that I was running. Or, it's just not designed for heavy competition use.

this is exactly what I'm experiencing now. I thought it was just mine being a little worn out since I bought it used. After hearing your response, maybe that's how they are? :shrugs: I cranked it up to 4F/3R last week and helps w/ the bounciness but I can still feel it bottom out. Next time I have 234 up on a rack, I'm going to take one of the front ones apart and see how long the bump stops are.
