i have a 1993 civic dx hatch with a b16a swap. what do i get axles for when i need to replace them?

 

b16a axles. I got my axle from Autozone for ~$55 (95 minus 45 core charge plus tax) a piece.

 

so like a 99 or 00 civic si?

or 94-01 teg axles

 

any b-series axles will work

what kind of car do you tell them though? i was gonna try them from a 99 or 00 civic si

That will work fine.

 

yeah any year integra over 1990, 99-00 civic si's, and 94-97 del sol vtec's axles will all work fine

 

Do you know if stock d16z6/s20 tranny axles work for the b16 tranny?

Just also curious about where you got your b16 and tranny? HOw much? Did you also need a wiring harness for your b16 or did you use the one from your d16 delsol?

No they dont

 

it all depends on the splines of the tranny, i have full spline axles and the 99 si axles are half spline, so i had to get 92 gsr axles. So if you have old ones take them in and check, its the side that goes into the tranny/half shaft.

i'm just using 94 integra axles

 

does your car have abs? The 99-00 si axles have abs rings on them, i dont know if that would cause a problem. I just bought some 94 gsr axles without abs, but what ever works.

 

just get the 94-01 teg axles, w/o abs, there 69.99 each after core
