Default any decent LS builds out there?

Yes I did use the search button but could find any useful build info...

so on that note I have a daily driver that i wanna get some decent power out of, I already own a turbo built LS and like having no vtec so don't say slap on a vtec head PLEASE, so anyone have any good power build with a LS.

I was thinking type-r pistons balance and blueprinted, and have the good folks of RED ZONE hook it up with a port job and a blox mani and a set of crower NA cams

anything else anyone can recommend?

thanks nonvtecallmotor has a sweet setup a little more than what im looking for but easy to take a few steps back from his setup and see what it puts me.

couldnt find anything under hybridvtec

anyone else got any good stuff? im thinking low 13s not fast at all considering but just some guts for fun windy roads on the weekends

404's tend to have a limpy idle around 750-900. up the idle and you should have no problem

so jumping the idle to 1100-1200 should solve any rough idle?

If you already have AEM's then keep them otherwise I suggest the 6-bolts from JG Engine Dynamics. You can get a pair for $130-140 shipped

sup im from the bay area, building up a all motor ls
redzone tunned my car, its a good shop

i think itr comp is a lil too low
get p30
with stock bottom and built head i got 160whp

im hoping for 200 whp after the os p30 are installed with anr headers, got my block back from the shop after being hontanked. Just need the lil parts like arp rod bolts, balancing my crank, honing, complete gasket kit, shoppen my ls rods, boring my motor 81.25 and etc.

the compression is set around mid-low 11's and should be fine on 91oct
with good tunning it'll be fine

if you want, u can check out my set up as is right now on my car, i got 404's and a built head on my ej8 right now, PULLS HARD

props for nonvtec builts

I'm going to be using GSR outer springs with some after market inner springs I found on http://www.inlinefour.com There $80 and stiffer. They should hold up against my 404's.

I'll have to do that sometime this week and get it too you! Last I remember, think it was between 220-230 across the board.
