Default What size are these in the 4th gen?

I was hoping someone could tell me what size the two front door speakers are in the 4th gen. Mine currently got blown out, and I need to upgrade my sound system extremely bad. And if anyone knows what size the tweerters are in the dash? Thx.

Um yeah, tweeters do make a difference. Have you ever heard a car with and without them? Stop talking out of your ***.

Personally, i'd pick 2 way 6.5" speakers in the door, 6.5" woofers on the rear deck, and tweeters behind the speaker grills on the ends of the dash. I used 6002is in the door, and 6002ci components for the rest, as they come with the woofer, tweeter, and crossover.

ummmm replacing tweeters that are already working are not going to make a noticeable difference. his speakers are blown not his tweeters

He said his door speakers were blown. Then he asked what size the tweeters were. He didn't say they were working, didn't say they weren't. He didn't ask for people to say that tweeters are a waste.

Be careful which type of replacement speaker you buy. B/c some have a different mounting depth and then it won't fit. Check a crutchfield mag for all the specs of the car and speakers.

the speakers dont have to have the same mounting depth, it just makes it a lot easier. if they're not you'll have to make some sort of custom enclosure, that's what i did for my rear speakers.

your tweeters are not fine...oem honda tweets suck. Buy whatever speakers you want assuming your not mentally retarded you can make them fit by trimming your basket and building a spacer. I personally would refer you to a set of focal components more specifically the polyglass. Really solid mid-bass and awesome high end on them too. Not trying to stir the pot but ask any audiophile and they'll tell you the difference between good and everything else is the tweeter. Also depending on you budget I would not run those focals or any after market speaker on deck power, get an amp if you don't have one. Lastly, again depending on your budget, I would stay away from 2 and 3 way speakers. thats just me though If you have any questions I don't know everything but have alot of friends that do an we have tons of stereo for sale because we are always trying different combos
