Default difference between two motors

im trying to deside between to motors, the b16a2 or the b16b. i cant find much out there for the b16b and i was wondering if theres really any difference between them. I was wondering if i would be able to buy, let say, a supercharger, would the supercharger still fit the b16b if i bought one for a b16a2? same thing with the header and other bolt ons? any help would be greatly appreciated. im almost ready to buy a motor, im just researching the mods im available to with each motor. thanx

The B16B comes out of the civic type-r. it's over priced and not really meant to be super charged. I think that it is better off used in an all-motor application.

for the extra money you'll be paying for the b16b, its not really worth it. You can buy a Supercharger and a b16a2 for roughly the same price as a b16b

I'm not sure about the Supercharger as you might have to use the vtec 1.8 version as well as the header. The b16a header hits the oil pan when attempting to bolt on to the b16b.
