Although I'm not local 604 no more...

I suggest having you guys hit a local dyno for one of your events....

I think 3yrs ago, we had a successful one happen @ Technik Motorwerks. Contact board memeber Spikey for details

Hello - you must be new here cuz....

There's been Type R "events" every year for 5 years. Most of the owners have moved on to other cars in the meantime. I think there was a meet in 2001 where we got 15 or 20 Type Rs to show up and there were also the meets at A&J.

Dyno days are hard to organize because people are flaky and don't commit unless you have one of their nuts in a vice grip.

Best chance to see other R's is by attending track days or going to the street legal drags at Mission Raceway on Friday nights.

There is a track day at Mission on Easter Monday being held by Morrisport. A few of the ImportClassifieds.com guys are going.

http://karelo.com/restdetail.php?&BID=67

The street legal drags should be starting soon (weather permitting).

Sweet Jesus, I thought you were dead. Nice to see you're still around.

I'm staying at Chris's house for the winter olympics next year. If he changes his mind at the last minute, I'm kidnapping his dog for ransom. We should all get together for some sushi or something. It would be good to see you and see the car some of my old parts went in to

Yo!

We're having a local ITR meet in middle to late June in seattle... It will be semi-private for obvious reasons, but feel free to post in this thread if you're interested or have any ideas on the meet. BC x Seattle meet possibly?

Sushi sounds like a great idea. I might not have the R by then though, I really need an M5.

Time to get my passport

July or August perhaps? I was at the 2001 meet as well. Best meet I've attended, by far.
