*FINALLY: HOWTO:MAKE 2DR INTEGRA BACK SEAT FIT LIKE STOCK CIVIC BACK SEAT.
alright, as you may or may not know if you swap 94-2001 integra back seats into a 92-95 Hatch the top part from a 2door will fit perfectly but the bottom will be too small and wont bolt in. there will be a 1.5" gap on each side and a 1" gap behind so you'll be able to see the color of your body.
but the bottom out of a 4 door will fit perfectly.
I've never tried the 4door back seat in my hatch. and it's not that I can't get my hands on one, I'm just bored and rather do it myself.
:THE VICTIM :

alright so first thing is first, we get the stupid upholstery off. it took me about 2 hours to get all the rings off.

the integra seat was a bit different took only about an hour. still a bitch though

see how much bigger the civic seat is then the integra. but the intrega foam is allot better.

alright, the plastic thing goes in the middle, so put it upside down and makes some lines with a marker.

and cut it.
i used a drywall saw.

Beautiful

this is the integra material on the civic seat, it's way too small

but the middle will look hot

so how do I fix the side ?
I'll just sew more material. all i have to do is learn how to sew.
I can fix engines, I'm sure I can to sew
I go to fabric land, only person in the store under 60. got a good length to play with, cause I figured I'd restart allot.
so I found my mom's sewing machine and got going.
looks pretty nice, I'm finishing up the other side now. and then I'll do the top.

now I never did any sewing before, the machine is pretty straight forward, you put it down, Pres the peddle the needle goes faster, all you have to do is keep it steady. it's child's play.
it's not installed or anything, I just tucked it under, but I'm really impressed already. I'm sure It'll turn out fine. and I'll finally have a back seat that looks good and fit good.
I'll update this project as I go.

alright, I have'nt worked on this in forever, and I finished it up pretty half ***, but it worked, looks nice and fits in perfect. I don't have lots of pics of what I did in between but I basicly just sowed more **** around.
here is the final product:

the material doesn't look that off in person, the flash **** it up.

Give you props for the effort on sewing
how long you think it'll hold up?
you shouldve took some before and after shots of it installed

it's not installed yet, I just placed it on top and tucked it under.
took me about 20 minutes to sew it good. it should hold up.
but seriously, no one ever goes in the back anyways.

What am I supposed to do to get the sewing needle to back out of my hand? This really hurts and I'm sure there isn't supposed to be this much blood.
