ITR 5 lug on 93 Integra
Out of pure curiosity...why? I know your asking if it is possible and I don't have an answer for you but if you do go through with it...remember that your going to seriously limit yourself with wheel choices if this is a concern for you. Not only this...but because you need wheels for a "Type R" you will also get reemed on the price. Wheels for Type R's are expensive. Something to keep in mind...

No... 5x114.3 'type-r' is actually cheaper.
Highest priced wheels are 4x100, then 5x114.3, the cheapest are 4x114.3...
Supply vs Demand... higher demand for 4x100 than anything else, economics.
ALL civic tegs = 4x100
ITR = 5x114.3
96 spec itr/accord = 4x114.3
Whats the most common.

Um yeah ok. You kind of missed it. It doesnt usually matter what the bolt pattern is if you're buying them new (usually the same price regardless), but used 5x114.3 tends to be a bit more expensive due to the fact that it is rarer (you said it yourself, 4x100 is more common).
Not to mention almost twice as many wheels can be had in 4x100 and better sizes (width and offsets) than 5x114.3.
Not to mention 4x100 is usually kept in stock and on hand, whereas 5x114.3 is pretty much always special order. Any idea how long a special order of some say 5-lug volks takes from Japan?

Not really. in my area 5 bolt type R rims (97-2002 i think those are the years) are cheap as hell. A set averages about $400+ Canadian ($320 US). GSR blade rims over here are probably at most demand easily catching $800 CDN a set. From my experiences 5 bolt R rims are very affordable. If anything 5x114.3 are the cheapest rims you can find sometimes. No one really wants to buy them because theres not a lot of guys running that offset. 4X100 Go like crazy so people tend to charge whatever they want. Im speaking of forum selling, Im sure its a different story with actual shops.

wow you guys are dumb... 5x114.3 bolt pattern rims are no more expensive than 4x100. Look outside of honda for a couple minutes, the majority of manufactures use 5 lug bolt patterns..

Yea like last week I saw a ford taurus w/ some 17" Work Rsz-R's on them.
Talking about quality wheels, not some pepboys junk.
Or something discontinued/hard to find.. inflation of the price goes up more for 4x100 then it would for 5x114 and/or 4x114

Its possible, but its not as simple as just swapping the hubs and axles in. To do it right on a DA there needs to be some machining.
