Is it worth buying the jackson racing vtec controller and putting it on my 99ex civic, i mean how well does this help a sohc motor? Anyone who has one on a mostly stock motor please let me know. And anyone who wants to sell one cheap let me know. A friend might be selling me his jr supercharger, along with the supercharger would it help performance?

 

A vtec controller on a stock motor isn't worth the money IMO. As for the supercharger, I don't really like them but if you can get a good deal on it and like superchargers I say go for it

 

the dude wants to sell me the supercharger for 250 with like 10k miles on it, but he says i need to get the manifold assembly kit for it which is like $500 on jacksonracing.com, i dont know a whole lot about superchargers so along with this jr supercharger will the vtec controller help alot
