Hello all, I have SRD Recaro seats in my 90 CRX. I have the Recaro rails and sliders, but I want, NO I HAVE TO HAVE a lower sitting postion. I am 6 3 and fat and there is no way I am going to get my big a$$ in there with a helmet. does anyone know of a company that makes a lower sitting rail for recaro's? PLEASE ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT.

 

i really doubt your going to find anything that sits much lower that the ones you have, if i was you i would sell the rails and make something out of flat steel. if you have access to a welder and some basic tools you can adjust it to your specs, thats my .02

 

i have no idea how to weld. maybe I can try and find someone though. thanks for your input

 

EF Rails are hard to come by, I ordered my seats from http://www.on-trackperformance.com/index.html and they do have a different supplier for rails. Mine sit a bit higher then stock but not to much.

 

If they are bolt in seats they should already sit pretty low. If not you should try just to fabricate some custom brackets to make them sit on the floor haha

 

I honestly think they are stock height. I wish I new how to play with metal. I had a friend that but GSR seats in his CRX and they were low. But he drilled holes in the floor and put bolts & washers. I need to do something
