For anybody in the LA,Orange County,Riverside,or San Diego area, do you guys know of a good place to take my S2 to get painted,Im going to go Monte Carlo blue,just looking for a good place to take my ride.Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks in advance.

some may recommend MOBworks... thats good and all... but just so you know... pros and cons and everything in between... read through it all. Im not bashing or praising MOB here... just giving this guy as much info as possible...

Give Duc at Spugen a call.

 

I called Duke at spugen, he quoted me 2100 for entire car with engine bay.They only use PPG paint.I thought this was a great deal, does anybody know anyone who can beat that

you're gonna paint it white?? why didn't you just get a GPW to begin with then?? if i ever change the color of mine in the future when it's needed imma do something custom that no one else has....

I took some wheels and a valvecover to Duke and the quality was so ******* horrible I will never ever ever ever let anyone else go there ever, that's right I will kill you if you try.

It sucks that miguel let that situation get that far, but **** happens and it looks like he took care of it somewhat.

I personnally have used mob and recommended to them on numerous occasions. If I do find a white s2k it will be going there as well for the color I really want. But the reality is 2100 aint **** for a good paint job and you really pay for what you get.

It's hard to recommend anone nowadays, even holmes who does the mercedes dealership locally really fucked up my old civic.

I would basically drum up some bullshit story about how your car is going on a magazine cover and yu have all these sponsors and your gonna take all these pix ect and pick your body shop. 20/20 has also been known to do good work but they have had nags as well

WHATEVER ANYONE DOES NEVER GO TO JT AUTOSTYLE they are at best butchers.

i couldnt pass up my spa. it was an 02 with 4,500 miles on it never titled. Im the first owner. some sales guy was driving it around.

The white/red was alse very hard for me to find here in NJ...

Has anyone else had a problem getting their car painted at Spugen ?

Dude don't do it caue there is some kid that just did it. And Tommy also has that color. There will be 3 of you dudes in a really close area.

But hey its your car so do what you want.

purple with hot pink flames!?

 

...i currently have the Grand Prix White with red interior ....for some wierd reason, ive been thinking of going with a Pine Green color
