Just Got: Rear Disc Brakes...I Have Questions. (pics included)
Just got these today, they are off a 1994 Integra LS originally.
I have a 1990 CRX DX... My questions are:
1) These bushings look like ***. Are OEM ones expensive, any aftermarket equvilent? (The guy I got these from said often it helps to have a Press to change out bushings, is this true because I dont have one.)
2)Where can i get new calipers and rotors for these, autozone etc or do I need to go to a dealer?
3) These e-brake cables are gonna reach, right?
4) For $150.00 was this a decent deal?

150's a decent deal, use the lower control arms if you want to have a rear sway bar. some will say that the integra ones are a quarter inch longer than the civic's, therefore affecting toe, but when i put them next to each other they were exactly the same length. only difference was the shock mount was closer to the inside of the car, therefore SLIGHTLY reducing the effectiveness of your spring rates.
as for the bushings, i just saw a site that has the honda part numbers, with a good write up. (i guess i'm going to have to tell you to search, even though you probably know that) Mugen makes those bushings, but they appear to be the same as the redesigned honda bushings.
is your car lowered? because honda had a Technical Service Bulletin saying that those bushings were a poor design and dealers are authorized to replace them for free upon request of the consumer (unless they can find an excuse not to, like a lowered car or something). so, my suggestion, because i'm cheap, is if your car isn't yet lowered, take it into the dealer now, they'll replace the bushings, then pull them out of your old arms and put them in the integra ones when you come home.

1. Bushing cost about 50-100
2. calipers/rotor-- >autozone or auto store
3. i have no idea. i'm in the middle of the swap myself. stock e-brake is a pain in the butt to take off.
4. i paid 175 shipped. but I ended up having a extra pair of the donor car.

i have removed and installed new trailing arm bushings without a press, but you will be MUCH better off using a press to install the new bushings.
do a quick search on this for the procedure.

I used CRX si ebarake cables on my 88 crx, worked fine. If you paid $150 for the rear only, you got ripped!! I sell the rear disk brakes for $175 in good condition.

yea i have a guy that does all my work for me that requires special tools, he doesnt charge an arm and a leg either, i just wanted to know if it was possible to do without, aparently its much more logical to just use a press.

Use your stock CRX UCA, LCA, and compensator arms.
Hell, you don't even need the Integra trailing arms. Just bolt the disc hub assemblies to your CRX TAs. If your CRX TA bushings are still good, then all the better.
Turn your calipers in as cores toward some remans at the local auto parts store. You can get rotors anywhere - AutoZone, CarQuest, Honda dealership, etc.
