I just recently had an audivox car alarm installed from Best Buy. After about 1-2 weeks problems with the electrical system began: alternator, battery, dash lights, speedometer and tachometer failure. To be more specific, typical battery/alternator symptoms of dim lights and recharge issues began and so I replaced both the alternator and battery. The problems still continued. I called Honda and they suggested a connection/interference in the car's system and my recently installed aftermarket alarm, has anyone ever heard of such a thing? Please give any and all suggestions, as I am quite fustrated.

 

Try taking it back to another bestbuy location and tell them about your problem and tell them to re-check the connections.
