FS: 85 Honda CRX Si, Upstate New York
I never thought it would come to this but the CRX has to go. I'm picking up the Integra this weekend and I need the garage for it.
It's a 1985 Honda CRX Si, kinda a rare car because it's the first year of the Si and there was not many made compared to the DX and HF.
It needs some body work, a dent in the right rear, some rust thru the floorboards(very common in these cars, but easy to fix), and it needs a paint job.
It has a browntop zc swap in it but the motor is shot. A JDM one can be picked up for 500-600 bucks or you can get a 86-87 Integra motor out of a yard cheap. The tranny is mint and has a practically new ACT clutch.
The interior is pretty much stripped and the sunroof does not work quite right, it needs a few plastic pieces and it will be golden.
It has new Koni yellow struts(which are now discontinued), and Eibach pro kit springs.
This car needs some work but it is a good platform to start with. The parts are there for it if you look, and it is SUPER light. The car probably weighs around 1800lbs dry right now. With a ZC you can get 14's with some work, a stock b16 will get you 13's if you have decent tires.
I will email pics upon request.
I am asking for $600. The struts alone are worth that so I dont think it is a bad price at all.
