cable trans input shaft?
I was wondering if any of you know how to tell the difference between a hydro trans input shaft and a cable one? I have a box of b series tranny parts from misc trannys and want to know which input shaft I have. Any pics or descriptions would be helpful.
Thanks
Thanks
here's what i found.
cable clutch mainshaft (input) = #20

hydro clutch mainshaft = #3

if you notice the cable has the extra splines on the backside of the shaft, also the counter's for each spline up completly differently, they might still swap, line them up side by side if you have both and see whats all different, take some pics if you can cause i'd like to know. here are the specs, they're all the same:
cable clutch

hydro clutch

cable clutch is a 92 integra LS and the hydro clutch is 95 integra GSR
you'll also have to remember the mainshaft on 91 and previous year tranny is small splined for the clutch disc.
