Did Urbanracer do this last year? This was on the nhra website..

For each race of the 2005 season, the UrbanRacer.com Sport FWD contingency payout will offer $500 per race in addition to the regular NHRA payout, and extend winnings potential to the Sport FWD winner ($250), runner-up ($150) and semifinalists ($50 x 2).

 

Yes Urban racer was a class sponsor last year.

 

I knew they sponsored the class. I was wondering about the extra payout in Sport FWD.

 

yeah they did the extra payout thing last year it was mid seaon when they started doing it

 

I got a $250 check at the etown NHRA fall nationals from them at the track right after winning. to Mike and everyone else at urbanracer for sponsoring the class and for the exposure they are giving us!

Same here. They kicked down $250 in Pomona for my victory and took some nice shots of my car in the staging lanes before the hat dance.

You have to run a urbanracer.com sticker on your car. Finish 1st get $250, runner-up gets $150, lose in the semis and get $50.
