Default Re-anodizing a Part

I am looking to get some parts custom anodized for no other reason than bling factor. The thing is, the parts come anodized from the manufacturer and they don't offer the color I am looking for. I've spoken to the manufacturer through a dealer, and they say they will only offer them in two colors. Can a shop that specializes in anodizing parts strip the parts down and re-anodize them?

Most parts can be stripped and then re-anodized. But before you go getting the parts you should first consult with the company that will actually be doing your anodizing. They would know for sure before anyone on here.

Here's a place to buy the stuff to do it your self.

I had direct experience with anodizing an re-anodizing parts. If a part is made and then anodized (lets say green) it will come out green. If the part was anodized before, stripped, then reanodized again the part will be a darker green. Yes its enough to notice immediately, but thats your call.

That is very true. Also, I've seen some reanodized parts that weren't stripped well, and some discoloration is apparent (blotchy colors).
