ITR Door Replacement. Help me out.
Well, I've been on this forum for a bit... Never posted much though. But anyways...
I got a 98 ITR, and before I bought it, my freind crashed it into a fence and the door is pretty busted, and the frame might be a teeny bit bent... But I was wondering how I should go about fixing it...
- I was planning on getting a Type R door, painting it, then slapping it on.
- Or, I could get a GSR Door, fix the side moldings, paint it, then put that on.
I was kinda leaning towards the GSR door cuz I could probably get that cheaper at a junk yard or something. It'll be nearly impossible to find a Type R door at junk yard, and a brand new unpainted one is like $700.
I know the Type R dor is made differently inside, such as welds and crap that make it more unique. But I myself have never been Autoxing or anything, so that kind of rigidity issue won't make a HUGE difference to me...
But anyways, please help me out and tell me what you think I should do. By the way, my budget isn't big at all... Thanks.

You could get your hands on some 97-94 model doors they are much lighter because they do not have the reinforcments in the doors that came on the OB2 integras.
IM Smitdog.. he may still have one laying round

If it is only the door skin, a color matched one can be had for less than 300 bucks

Nah, the door is bent on the inside I'd guess... Since it doesn't close correctly and it's not flush the with body at the edges.

The only differences, AFAIK, are the color and the lack of rub strip on outside.
