Default has anyone bought these Tail lights

I got tired of how my car looks and decided to derice/rerice it.
It's a '97 civic HB
I currently have 3gen altezzas and want to change them to something subtler.
I still have my stock lights, but really don't like the orange turn signals.
I found these on eBay:

They seem nice and clean, but somehow, paying $90 just to get rid of those orange spots seems kind of silly.
I'll probably end up buying them anyway, but what I wanted to know is if anyone has dealt with these and what are your reviews?

Those look just like 99-00 tails. They're the red and clear instead of red/amber/clear.

the seller "recommends" you fill the outside with silicone to prevent condensation. cheap tail lights like those will never beat OEM tails. find a good set. OEM tails go for $100.00 newyz.

I've seen OEMs go for about $100. Even if they need to be sealed, its really not a big deal - you could seal them in 5 minutes.

you can buy brand new lights from Advance Auto and Auto Zone. Heck, OBX makes a set that sell for like 50-60 bux. My friend has a set on his car and they have yet to leak. He is up in PA where it gets about 6 degrees outside and ice and snow piles up on t6hem and they dont even have the slightest bit of condensation on them.

Dont buy that ebay crap... I have the coupe version and the fitment sucks, build quality sucks, and they dont look like oem in person because the clear part is too bright compared to my friends OEM SI tails.

i used to have those on my hatchback. i recently traded my friend for his stock OEM 96 tails. Nothing beats OEM, especially the fit. fake taillights fit horrible. i say if u have a 97 like me, just put your stock ones on. amber is cool!

That doesn't look bad, I'll probably get them.
Aside from eBay, every one else is asking $75-200 each, eBay's $90 for a complete set, shipped.
Can some one here beet that price?

Go for it man. No one can notice the difference unless you line up to OEM lights.

Like I said earlier - once you get em, bust out the silicone and put a bead along the cracks and you'll be good.

I forgot to mention that i had many leaking problems with the drivers side tail light. When it rained hard enough or snowed id find my trunk soaked. The source: drivers side tail light. I could have had some serious electrical problems. Im lucky the leak didnt short out anything.

They look hella nice, but make sure everything is sealed.
