i migth be getting a itr motor but with no ecu. can i use a Gsr ecu or should i just get one form hondata ??? help anyone ??

 

you can use one from a gsr, but im sure it will run shitty.

just pick up a p73, i see them for sale all the time.

 

Get a Hondata and get it properly tuned...it will make more power than the stock P73 anyway.

 

I've used the OEM ITR ECU that came with my car. Later, I upgraded to a JUN P73 ECU with a VAFC. Both are very good ECU's. I was VERY HAPPY with the JUN when I hit 200whp with it !! Ultimately, I've sold the JUN and I'm going Hondata.

Long-story-short.. go with a Hondata. You can use OEM templates and/or modify as you need right off the bat.

bad idea for someone just trying to get itr motor running. i'd say get stock ecu for stock motor.

 

hondata isn't too expensive and good tuning could warrant you more power.
