All machine work was performed by AC Automotive Machines in Ventura, CA. Beto (the machinist) was a former machinist for RS Engineering and has been working with Bseries motors for over fifteen years. Beto makes his own sleeves out of alumminum stock. All work is done in house.

Aluminum Sleeves?

 

I dont know Smoothy. I'm not really savvy on this stuff. I was wondering about that the other day cause I was looking at another block and there is light surface rust on the top part of the sleeve. But aluminum doesn't rust? So just whatever sleeves are made out of? From your comment I guess not aluminum. Enlighten me then.

 

anyone know what the weight of a block would be? i am trying to find out shipping info for people
