Default Suspension questions, Need help!

Ok, so I got me a nice, fat raise, and I got my first paycheck. If anyone even remembers me (doubtful), I have a 98 LS 4-door. I'm thinking of getting Koni Yellows & Eibach Pro-Kit Springs. Is $739.00 a good price for a new set, or am I getting ripped off? And is this a good set-up?-ekzrated

You mite as well go with kyb agx, or tokico illumina, the prokit have a 1.3 drop that gonna leave a gap between ur tire and da car. I personally have tokico illuminaz and sportline, the ride is stiff but smoothhhhhh, and cost bout 360 for shockz and 180 for the spring, but there are many other choice like the Tein S-tech which i could got it for like 130 i heard it have a really nice drop but duno if is stiff. Hope that help

You would be amazed at how many Type R guys are running this setup at auto crosses. I know first hand that this is a very capable setup.

I use to have the Neuspeed Koni Yellows and would recommend them to anyone. The damping adjustability exceed my expectations. Mine were paired with H&R Race springs. My favorite setup so far.

$739 is a bit high, but not ridiculous if you're talking about a shock and spring set, but I think that is an excellent setup if you want a good shock and decent springs without worrying about height adjustment.

Look in the sponsors section of H-T and see if any of the suspension people are selling them for cheaper, and maybe get a used set of prokits or find them on ebay. I was able to piece together a Koni Sport coilover setup for around $500 with springs, half of it is used, the other half is brand new.

thanks everyone for the feedback... I think I'm gonna get the koni/eiback kit then... I just hadn't found many places that sold them both, or that had them listed as fitting in an LS, so I was a bit curious. Thanks!-ekzrated
