Costs of an H22 swap
I have a 1996 civic ex coupe, mostly stock. But i was wondering how much i would have to spend to drop a successful H22 into my car. If i could get the engine for around 2000-2500, how much extra would i have to spend to have mechanics get everything working and keep my internals in good condition? Also i was wondering what i would have to give up (A/C, Power Steering), or how much extra it would cost to keep it.
Bump.
Read the sticky!
i'd say it will run you 4000-5000 wo0t!! That's if you bring it to a shop, and they do all the work. then you getting all the parts that will be missing when you order your swap. i.e. shifter cables, shifter plate, shifter assembly. Axles, Motor mounts, new t-belt, new water pump, new hoses etc.. wo0t!! Lot's of $$$ here buddy!!
