I always see people saying i did my 'mpfi conversion'
Is this a good thing???
Is this for your ecu to support more hp?
How do i identify if i have mpfi or dpfi???

dpfi
is dual point fuel injection 2 injectors....carb style....this is the .dx model

and the si has mpfi multi point fuel injection 4 injectin, fuel injected.....

92hp or 108hp, there are other things that factor in but that is the biggie

 

the mpfi injects the fuel closer to the cylinders also which is a much better setup. It also breathes better, and.... i dunno, i never really thought about it much because i just knew it was better.

 

oh, and MPFI will have 4 fuel injectors close to where the intake meets the head. DPFI will not as they are up by the throttle body.

Well, you would be better off with the engine from a CRX Si, it is 108 hp compared to the HF's 63 hp or whatever.
