Default Need a little help please

Hey guys need a little help. I just did a swap into my 96 civic dx coupe with a obd1 jdm b16a2. After I did the swap the only check engine light I had was for the electrical load detector sensor. I had a supercharged mini me before, so all the wire changes have already been done to accommodate the vtec motor. I am using a obd2 - obd1 conversion harness with a stock p72. Once we got it started it seemed that everything was in good working order. I took it out that day and drove the crap out of it. Nothing seemed wrong, until I drove it that night. When I had the lights on and the stereo playing I noticed that the headlights would dim when I hit the throttle and get brighter when I let off. The more that I drove the car at night the performance would get worse and worse, so I just went home. The next day I took it to an electrical shop and when we had it on the volt machine. It did the same thing. With the light and stuff on it ran at 14.4 volts at an idle and started to fluctuate with the stereos beat. The voltage started to slowly drop and ended up going as low as 12.7 volts. They told me that they couldn't hook up a scanner to it do to the obd1 ecu in a obd2 car. But they said that they think it has something to do with ELD sensore.(I'm glad they charged me $100 to tell me what my ecu already did). I work at a stereo shop and I am pretty good with honda's, but this has me stumped. Any help would be awesome and greatly appreciated. Sorry for the long post.
Currant mods on motor are
-comptech ice box with intake
-TypeR 4-1 header
-skunk two cam gears set at 2* advanced with split overlap
-hondata heatshield gasket
-moroso oil catch can

check your grounds y0, that is most likely it. if they are good, ADD MORE GROUNDS! since you work at a stereo place, get some 10 gauge or even 8 or 4 gauge wires and make some grounds. search for some how-to's. it's easy and fun

If you installed an obd 1 swap into your obd2 car what did you do for the charging system? Did you use an obd2 alternator or an obd1 and wire it in? Did it have the check engine light from the first start up with the new swap? Sorry for so many Q's just trying to help.

When I had got the motor from japan it had a grounding kit already on it. I will just use that one. As far as the charging system goes my boss bought a 1999 b18c5. So I just swaped him alternators and injectors. made it nice and easy for me. Then I just used the obd1 dizzy with some re-wiring.

Yes, I had the problem write from the start. dont worry about asking two many questions. Thanks for your interest. It's just so wierd that it would actually affect the performance of the car. I need to figure this bug out.

I forgot to say that the motor has 4 guage wire from the front radiator support to valve cover and from fram to tranny. Does anyone know off the top of there heads any other good locations? Thanks

sounds like you need to have the alternator checked. If it is going bad the electrical load sensor will throw a code.
