Default jdm vs. usdm help

my friend just bought a jdm b16a1 online for his 90 integra. when he got it in the ecu harness had been chopped and it was missing a whole lot of stuff and generaly just FUBAR. so we got to lookin at the ting to see what was all wrong with it and rememberd that our other friend said that the jdm harness would be diffrent from the usdm one but the two motor's harness' matched up perfectly(except for the chopped ****) any who is there any to tell if the engine is a jdm motor or if it is A usdm one by the serial number or anything -MordoC-

Its highly unlikely that you got a usdm one. If it says B16A only, its jdm. Usdm say B16A2, 3. The jdm harness will look a lot like but use the stock one.
