I have a crx hf and im about to do a ZC swap before this month.
I got a pg7 ecu but my friend said he would trade me it for a pm6.
Which is a better ecu for the Zc pm6 or pg7...(after being chiped??)

 

is it a sohc zc, or dohc? I currently have a single cam zc and i have used both a pm6, and a pg7 ecu. I like the pm6 for my single cam cause the idle runs better. I experiemented and installed 89 integra injectors then switched my ecu to my pg7 w/pm6 housing and I now have no sutddering problems using it on my single cam.

I know my ecu's aren't chipped like you are inquiring about so i cannot help you about that, Just giving you the information i have encountered with my setup. I assume if you DO have a DOHC version then the pg7, pm7 will run better because they do have better fuel maps i believe.

If you have the Sohc version and you are running it stock and aren't going to upgrade the engine or run boost i would guess you stick with the pm6 ecu and chip it.

But if you are going to chip either one depending on which motor you have, you would want to chip the pm7/pg7 for the dohc:

or if you have the sohc version you would probably want to chip the pm6 ecu.
