If you don't want to damage your motor than you seriously need to re-evaluate what you want to do with the car. In your post you just answered your own question.
There are many on here that are very willing to help you with advice, though it is best that you have a serious game plan and the funds available first.

there's more to it than just 'spraying' if that's what you want to call it. compression, leak down, getting the right fuel tune, spark plugs and gap...one wrong move and you'll be down a few thousand dollars. everything thanks a bit of research.

It all depends on your Hp goals and how much money you have. Do you have another car or is it a daily driver?? IMO NOS is wack unless you already have sum kind of power cuz you have to spray to get that power compared to having power at any givien moment with a FI or bulit motor. Tell us what you have in mind as of HP.
Guessing that you want to be the fastest like everyone else, you need the money. So reply back with how much funds you have and we can break down what options you have.
