D16Z6 head & gearbox on a ZC block?

D16Z6 head & gearbox on a ZC block?
Has anybody ever tried to fit a D16Z6 head and/or gearbox to a ZC block? It looks good to go but I'd like to know.
Reason I want to do it is because I've a D16Z6 sohc vtec engine that threw a leg out and I have a spare ZC 1600 sohc non vtec sitting around doing nothing...

You might want to ask in the civic forum as they deal with the SOHC stuff more than we in the integra forum do. If my memory serves me right you teg was stock with the SOHC? All of the USDM tegs have a DOHC, someone correct me if the G1's do not have dohc.

Thanks for the reply! I'll try the civic forum. Yeh you're memory does indeed serve you right, the teg started out with the (now) spare ZC sohc motor. Cheers
