Default Where are the Type R's?

Moved from Japan to Cali last year and I've been to the track 5 times, and havent seen one type R. For all you Type R owners, maybe you could fill me in on what track events your attending, because I'd really like to see what people are doing here as far as times.

Hahahaha. I picture this when I think of the scenario:

A pack of wild African lions who are thoroughly chomping down on a fresh kill, and some stupid *** species of lower value on the totem pole comes strutting up to try and take a piece.... Hahahahahaha. That would probably be the last thing a thief does while still alive. We'll get Aquafina jacked up on red bull and chocolate milk and then tell him to 'Sick Em!'

Irvine here...so I'm fairly close to Costa Mesa

There are at least 2 R's at UC Irvine.

One of them I see quite often for some reason, but I don't know the owner. It's a yellow R. I may have seen a black one as well, and another yellow one...not sure.

Ouch! sorry to hear that. Its a bit of a surprise to me. But then again I dont know anything about the motorsports in the US. In Japan, there will be on average 5 or 6 type R's (either Vic or Teg), depending on the track.

So no one here goes to the track with their Type R? Maybe I should post this again in the Racing section. Im sure there are many tracked Type R's, I just need to find them. For me personaly, I made a Type R from a DA9 chassis for cost reasons, but if I had a real Type R I would drive it at the track, thats what their intended for, right?

Come up to Canada. Here in Alberta there seems to be an R at every kind of performance driving event around. At an autocross of about 45-50 cars last year in Edmonton, there were 7 of us . Wish i had taken my camera with me.
