Type r head on a GSR block

shouldnt have any problems doing that just remeber to get a hondata or something along those lines with tuning and you'll be set. Might wanna get some ITR pistons while your at it too

You know.... for the kind of money it would cost to buy a type R head why dont you just port and polish your gsr head, get a valve job, titanium valves, retainers, springs, skunk2 or blox manifold, some nice cams and a bigger throttle body, oh and a higher compression head gasket.

The castings is exactly the same. The only difference lies in the cams. But hey...if your broke, check my sig
I've got the cams, springs and retainers for sale.
Back on topic, buying a used head is a hell of a lot cheaper than getting proper head work and all those parts that the guy above listed. For someone to do quality head work, it's gonna run you $1200+ then you got to buy all the parts.
You can find used Type R heads for less than 2K easy.
