Skunk 2 Stage 2 Shafts
I have had my stock lsvtec for a while and wanted to try to use some sk2 st II. I looked for more info but couldnt get any good ones.
I have a stock bottom block, and wanted to just slap on valves, valvesprings, and sk2 st II camshafts.
I know it needs more compression ( I have a set im my other car ). Will this make any power at all? Because I really didnt want to tear up the bottom block just yet, I wanted to see what this can do?
Anyone has done this? Thanks in advance

Bigger lift and duration always makes more power. You'll feel the power even without high compression especially with the s2s2's, but your car will have better response with higher compression. Forget compression dude, it's all in TUNING!
one time i called skunk2 to ask what is the compression needed to run these cams and they told me anything above 11 is fine but the more the merrier so good luck and hopefully you like it.
