Default Pics of the new exhaust

Here's what the old one looked like just before I left...car was very dirty and still SNOW on the ground

And just through the car wash to get rid of the road grime, here are the pics of the new exhaust. It's custom made by PF&E down in Detroit - it's my old stock downpipe (2.5") cut off right after the A/C pump (since I didn't want to lose that - the car is my DD in the summer and the 3" downpipe wouldn't fit through that gap with the pump there) then coupled to 3" mandrel (sp?) bent piping which is then connected to a Magnaflow 3" inlet 4" tip stock-ish looking race series muffler.

The sound is a lot louder and a lot deeper than before, especially when accelerating and off the throttle. Cuising the exhaust drones a bit, but it's not obnoxious, and I kind of like that anyway. It seems to be faster, but I'll wait for the dyno results on Thursday to see if I actually gained anything. The whole setup was pretty inexpensive for what I got ($305 for the whole thing, minus muffler which was $120).

I'm going for a sleeper look, and the old one just didn't fit the theme. I didn't like the giant can and it looked funny from the side since the can itself was so big, but the piping going into it was pretty small. This looks much more like what I had in mind for the overall look of the car

nope...stock block and head. The boost is getting turned down a bit probably...it's a really conservative tune and I don't really push it hard...ever.
