Whats a good 1/4 run
anybody know? Im running a stock si motor.
Ive only been to the track with
my rex once. My run was 17.1
yeah I know that sucks even for a stock
motor.
Ive picked up since then raceing on the street, but
next time what should I be shooting for?

 

come on I know someone has raced there rex stock!!

 

If you run a 16 sec run be happy. Mid 15s are apparently achievable stock, but... they are over 10years old now.

 

My setup runs a 15.5 with a clutch that won't hold past 60'.

I really need a stronger clutch

 

I saw a few CRX's stock hitting low 16's, But I think 15's are doable..

I had I/E/MSD on my Gutted 89 SI with 88SI d16a6 and ran a 15.4 (RAM AIR too) it was pretty impressive...

 

16's with full interior?

 

id say usually with full interior anywhere from 16 flat to 16.7 hope that helps.

 

I ran 16.1 with 158k miles on my STOCK with hubcaps 1991 SI hatch... 2350 curb weight without me.

Anything's possible.

 

high 15's to high 16's depending on what year.

my 88 stock ran 17.1 with slipping clutch and 160K tired miles.

I/H/E and new clutch made it go 15.9.

Now it's a big paperweight.

 

Okay I ran my rex gutted stock engine 16 flat with racing clutch..if you have some mods like fpr,blast coil, exhaust headers and run on 100 octane racing fuel then you'll run low 15's high 14's..... that's what my opinion is...and also depends mostly on the driver....latazZz

 

88 si - expect high 15s, low 16s
89-91 si - expect low 16s
88 Si with 91 cam - expect high 15s

 

My 89 Rex W/89K on it ran 15.2's all day.My traps were solid 91.5-92.5's.The rear plastic was all gutted out-i had blown shocks with some cheapo coilovers slammed-95' gsr wheels with michelins....homemade intake....and an ES oval uni.can with smaller than factory piping.Thats all that was done to it.She was a monster.Than i did an LS/vtec...and blew it up.Than a b16..and blew it up.POOPIES!

if a stock crx can run 15-16's... how much would a crx with a b18a1 run(with full interior, WW body kit, GC coilovers w/tokico blues, intake and exhaust)?
