AEM intake rattle problem. HELP!!!!!
I installed my intake almost 3 years ago, and recently i started to hear a rattle from the front of the car. The rattle only happens when i turn or when I start to drive from a stopped position. I opened the hood and found the my intake was loose. The screw and bushing that attaches onto the engine is broken. The screw is free from the plastic bushing and the bushing is still attached to the engine bay. All the hardware attaching the intake to the IM are fine.
I can't remember if this was a part from the stock intake or from the AEM one. For the time being, i am going to use some zip ties to hold it down. Has anyone else had this problem, and were can i buy the bushing and screw from? Also, how is that bushing attached onto the engine bay area (from under with a bolt)? any help would be great. I probably won't fix it until the weather gets more warm, but i would like to get the part.

That's an AEM furnished part if I remember correctly. I assume you are talking about the little u-shaped bracket that sticks out of the side of the CAI, and it is sandwiched between a nut and a washer that is sitting on top of a polyurethane/rubber bushing (1 inch long) with a bolt through it? If you are, AEM should provide a new one to you, give them a call, or you could find a similar thick bushing at a hardware store.
