So heres what happened......the other day i installed my dc sports header....we lowered the car, tried to start it and it wouldnt turn over.....we checked all wires and tested starter for power everything was connected and had power, so it must be a bad starter.......then last night i was driving home and the lights started to dim, the more i drove the worse it got, before i got home the ABS light came on and the car felt like it had no power....
I think i need a new starter and alternator.....
WHAT DO YOU THINK????????

Okay so im tryin to take off the the bottom nut on the alternator and that damn thing wont come off. I dont wanna strip it but its seems like its gonna.....i think im gonna try an impact socket gun on it..... I HATE THIS

Okay heres the whole story. Last week i got my JDM DC sports header and installed it at my buddy's garage. When we got done we lowered the car from the jack stands and tried to start it......the ignition and lights came on and the fuel pump made its normal noise, but the car wouldnt turn over. So eventually we just bump started it. It ran fine for about a day. Then I was driving home and all my lights were going dim and the power steering didnt work, the abs light came on and it wasnt working also. So everyone said its gotta be my alternator. So i bought a new alternator and installed it perfect with everything hooked up (all wires tight and the belt tight too)(also put my 2month old battery on the charger) ....Then finally at like 1 in the morning i finished and bump started it, after about 10 tries it fired up and seemed to be running okay. I took it for a test drive and went to get gas, as i left the gas station i noticed it was doing the same **** again, loosing all electrical power (abs, power steering, lights, etc!!!!) and also the car was running like ****, it barely made me home.
What the hell is wrong with my car, PLEASE HELP ME PEOPLE!!!!.....
If someone is in or around the escondido (SOCAL) AREA I will pay them to fix this problem.
