Is it difficult to swap the center control console (cd player, ac controlls, etc. ) from a 99-00 into a 96-98? I want to do a full conversion to make mine a 99-00. Also is it difficult to convert the front end to a 99-00? I assume you need the front bumper, headlights, hood and fenders? Any help is appreciated.

 

Exterior swap needs as follows:
Hood
Headlights
Fenders
Bumper
Grill
Radiator Support (optional, but for best fitment you should swap)

For the dash, you need all this from a 99.
Dash
All Panneling
Heatercore etc
Center Consol components
probably some new hoses and clamps

Basically everything has to be replaced with the 99-00 dash guts. I think the airbag is okay though.

If you search, there is a DIY swap quide for it. If I remember, it was pretty much bolt off bolt up.
