Default b18 tans

ok first off i have searched and nothing really came up, can i have a b18b1 bottom end but can i put a cable tranny on it, and it still work fine? pretty sure it wont make a diff but just want to make a diff. thanks!

i think you're asking if a cable b-series trans will bolt to a b18b block. yes it can, if you're putting the block in something like a DA then this would be a resonable question to ask. but if your trying to throw a cable trans into a hydro clutch car, its a lot of stupid work that never works as good as it should. just remember, 91 and older tranny's had small splines on the input for the clutch plate, 92 on had the big splines, so use the right clutch for the tranny.

i am looking to put it in crx hf, i have a b18b in my civic and i am buying another block to build for turbo, so i am going to try and do ls/vtec in the crx and use the block coming outta my car, thats why i was asking
