Good luck. If your crx which i think if I remember correctly 90-91's have the seatbelts in the doors. The 88-89's don't. I am in need of a pass. door for a 90 crx si right now, because of this. The only thing I can think of is if you weld the piece of door that is at the end of the window that holds the seat belt bolts on the 88 door. I am not sure this will work, you may need to change the glass too. Let me know how you make out. peace.

the "door ding" moldings are different i believe

Yea I think they are. You should be able to make the old one's fit.
