Default b and d series vtec solenoids interchangable

can u use a d series vtec solenoid on a b16 head cuz i got the head but it has no solenoid if not do u know of a place i can get one cheap thanks

Yes you can.The solenoid bolt pattern is identical and the oil holes and screen is identical.Only difference is the location of the plugs.The sohc has them on the side,dohc has them in front.Wiring does not need to change to compensate.Plugs will still reach.

And yes,I have tried this with success a few times.Does not require anything special.Just bolt on.
