GSR Cam help
Car: 98 civic hx
motor: 94 b18c, i/h/e/11lb flywheel, stage 1 clutch, lightweight crankshaft pulley.
Well this is what I got and I would like to get a set of cams. This is my daily driver. I just plain want the car faster. My dad almost has his '57 chevy belair with his rebuilt 396 complete. I don't think my car is gonna keep up with what I got right now. So maybe cams will help out. Hell maybe I'm gonna need a lot more then a set of cams. What do ya guys think?
I was thinking stage 1 skunk cams. If I get these cams do you recommend a valve train upgrade? I heard these cams are only good at high rpm. So like 5000-8000?
Thanks,
