Interior trim kits
I'm in the process of selling my 96 Accord, just picked up an '03 EX saturday (So Sweet) the only thing I dont like is the burl wood trim it came with. It has 19,000 miles on it, so everything is in great shape, but still.
Anyone tried one of those trim kits seen on ebay? Either an aluminum type or the carbon fiber kits? how do they hold up? any other trusted places to buy a kit like that? Thanks for any help guys.

all the trim kits i've seen r just stickers...my frend has a fake c/f trim kit on his civic...the thing looks like shyt, the fit is off by like 1/8 of an inch and it just looks cheap...dunt get a trim kit, if the burl wood really bugs u dat much, just get em painted or get sum replacement ones from another accord
I saw some that were actually thick and used two sided tape to attach. they were in the $140 range.
Im guessing the 50 dollar ones are the stickers.

Think about it if it uses two sided tape it is not the actual trim to replace it it is just something that sticks on top of the other trim I would not pay $140 for that and it most likely will look like crap but it is your car. I would try to find the actual trim pieces in a differnt color.
How hard is it to get them off? The door trim where the button are look glued on. Im sure I could hit a junkyard also and find some decent ones. Anyone ever taken these pieces off?
I got the burl wood trims, and they are like mentioned above, vinyls with 3M tape on the reverse side. I paid $50 for mine, quite thick, improved interior look a little, but the trimming sucks, looks hand cut rather than machine cut. But my center console are the real Honda wood looking plastic, so I got the trim to match, and doesn't quite look that bad.
There's a local shop that actually customize real replacement trims in carbon/plastic or higher grade glue over trims for any type of car. Of course it costs more than $50 (over $500 I belive). Maybe there's some place simliar near you.
