Default Just finished my ls/vtec

First motor I've built, and i must pat myself on the back. No matter how much i tried i kept getting a tooth off the timing, so Thanx to Dturbocivic for setting up my timing for me.

Before

All gone

Head install

Choice in ECU, P06 converted to gsr. Uberdata of curse. Programmed and chipped by 93turbo16

Going in.

I dont know if you care, but I had a post on g2ic.com and on here about where to put the clutch cable since the LS brackets on the VC dont match up with the VTEC head. I guess the word on the street is to put the cable behind the intake manifold, supossely it looks "sexy" and its hidden.
You tell me?!

you can route it under the intake manifold.....

what i do, is take the old LS clutch cable bracket, and grind it a bit(it has to be rounded off on one side) so that it will fit on the vtec valve cover. 5 minute modification.

Yea thats exactly what i did. theres only 1 mount holding it but it holds good. i shaved the corner of the old bracket. When i goto mount my oil pessure guage i may try to mount it under the intake.
