problem with axles with ZC tranny swap

Default need help ASAP; problem with axles with ZC tranny swap
I have a DOHC ZC motor which had a SL3 tranny in it. 3rd and 4th went bad so i got a L3 tranny to replace However the axles seem to be too short now? Do i need different axles with the L3? I am working on it as i type this.

is the transmission you have now a ZC transmission? did you have intermediate shaft and equal length axles with the old transmission?
