Wheres the leak coming from?
Ive had a very slow leak on my 94 Accord Ex coupe (133k miles on it). for about 4 months now. It is extremely slow, but it bothers me just for the simple fact that there is always flamable fluid resting on the underside of my vehicle. One stray *** and the car with me goes boom.
Freind of mine tried to help me fix this leak by replacing the Oil Pan gasket, but that does not seem to have stopped the leak. Where else could oil be leaking.
I am by far no mechanic, but I am cheap by necessity and cannot afford a mechanic. I have been able to perform some tasks on my vehicle, I have replaced spark, pluges, ignition coil, pcv valve, cleaned my EGR ports out, oil change and filter.
Any idea of where the leak might be coming from I do have a digi cam, that I might be able to snap some photos with, but I live in the Midwest and it is pretty cold right now, so as soon as it warms up Ill jack it up and take some shots from above.
Oh and my friend and I did the 100k maintenence at 126k miles. Replaced plugs, wires, ignition coil distributor cap, belts, radiator, gaskets, water pump, etc..

Are you sure the new gasket sealed the leak? It's happened to me where i thought i had fixed the leak, but only to find out that I had installed the gasket wrong. Check your drain plug on your oil pan also.
Drain plug is dry as a bone all around it. Yeah my friend said it might be possible that the oil pan was not tightened enough. I was thinking about just re-replacing the oil pan gasket, but I have no idea how to do it? Does anybody know of a write up on this? There are two things in the way (I looked up the names of these things, not that I knew what they were called), the Exhaust pipe and the center beam.
Could be, but they usually do not need to be very tight, becarefull use a 1/4 inch ratchet, over torqued bolts will snap.
Did you check the area around the oil filter?
Also!!! Check the engine for oil stains, Buy a can of brake cleaner and spray it down and get the engine spotless and inpect it a day later, and look for leaks.
