Pretty much any Single DIN head unit will fit in that dash. Some 98ish civics will physically fit but may not have the same style connection. You can make and adaptaion harness with harness from Best Buy.

i've heard the one from a prelude fits... give that a try...

good idea would be to go to wal-mart and look at thier radio connectors... if it uses the same conversion harness, then it'll work... might have an issue getting it to bolt in, but it should work out...

even the cheapest aftermarket cd player is around $50 i figure if i can get a stocker for under $40 id rather have that in the dash since itll look a lot nicer

so basically any single din honda unit should bolt right up

The 98up harness was changed from the narrow 2 row connector to a 3 row or something (can't remember which) but I noticed my 99 has a different connector. You could cut up the two harnesses and make the car have the 98 up harness to run a 98up radio.

yep, as far as accord goes, all 6th gen singel disc cd player have a different connector.(for Se, EX, av6 single disc: one for regular cd interface and one for cd changer)

honda still uses the same exact color code, so it's not exactly rocket science to match it up(you'll need the oem harness tho)
