Default Quick wheel bearing question

When the shake the wheel(steer), there's quite a bit of play, it's comming from the hub/bearing area. If it is the bearing, should the axle also wiggle when i wiggle my wheel? (i didnt loosen the axle nut)

When the wheel bearing goes, it makes grinding noise.

It's either a tie rod or the wheel bearing.

If you hear grinding noise and it gets louder as you driver faster its your bearing! (I just had mine done)

heres a simple way to check. 1st raise the car till the tire is off the ground. 2nd to test the wheel bearing grab the tire top and bottom. 3rd try to wiggle the tire. if theres some play then the bearing is starting to go if not then to check the tie rod, instead of grabing the top and bottom grab the sides. best of luck to ya.

depends on the manufacturer of the bearing (buy direct from honda), and how you drive drive your car.

my 92 cx has 82k on it BOTH of them are out, my other 92 cx has 159k just the LF wheel bearing is bad, My beater 92 si 170k front end is still tight. IT varies per car. and as stated above get them from dealer. IMO
