Ok, well i have a quick question.

I JUST got a 01 GSR last week, and i never checked the oil till yesterday. when i pulled the dipstick out, the tube/pipe that the dipstick goes into came out with the dipstick. now, i put it back in, and everything is fine now, but i dont wanna have that tube coming out everytime i check the oil level.

now the car IS under a short warrenty, but its a $100 debuctible for labor and repair. do you guys know how i could fix this, or if its worh paying $100 deductible to have the dealer fix it? doesnt seem like its leaking oil, but i want everything to be perfect on this car.

Any Info would be greatly appreciated

I don't think it's actaully broken, when i was swapping the engine in my bmw the tube for the dipstick came out because it's just placed/wedged in vs being bolted or welded in place.

I would just try pushing it in hard enough, and if it still comes out, try some jb weld.
